MARKETING YOUR COMIC TO RETAILERS Friday, 7:30-8:30PM Room 125B So you created a comic… Now how do you get people to read it? Come learn from other fans how they got the creations in the hands of the comic book retailers and other outlets. Your comic could be in more stores than you think.

The total count was over 207 pages. 132 pages comics (blue) and 75 pages prose (red). As you can see, the general pattern was brief periods off, followed by spikes in production, generally clustered around when things were due. (via PAGECOUNTING: 1st Quarter 2013 | Caleb Monroe)

I will be attending Emerald City Comic Con this weekend in Seattle! While I’ve never been, I’ve had the show’s praises sung to me many times on many occasions, so I’m very much looking forward to it.
I will be signing all day every day (with appropriate food and bathroom breaks, of course) at either the BOOM! booth (#2002) or the kaBOOM! booth (#2102), which are right next to one another. Signing STEED & MRS. PEEL (issue #5 out today!) or ICE AGE, respectively. Come by any time and say hello. Especially if you come in Steed and Peel cosplay or crossplay.

Seeing Jodorowsky’s DUNE-that-never-was has been one of the great “I wish”es of my life. Can’t wait for this documentary.
